Samey (Sam) Wyley Little, 79, Greenland, died July 14 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born Feb. 11, 1898, in Arkansas, he was the son of Jim and Velda Penland Little, a retired carpenter and a member of First Assembly of God in Fayetteville. He was married to Allie Harman July 13, 1921, and the couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary the day preceding his death.
Survivors include his wife of the home; one son, Don Little, Tulsa, Okla.; two daughters, Mrs. Maxine Gentry, Hays, Kan., and Mrs. Jene Sivage, Fayetteville; one brother, John Little, Clarksville; two half-brothers, Lloyd Little, Fayetteville, and Chester Little of California; two half-sisters, Mrs. Lela Bailey of California and Mrs. Velda Self, Fayetteville; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Nelson Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Danner and the Rev. H.H. Davis officiating. Burial will be in Baptist Ford Cemetery under the direction of Nelson
