FAYETTEVILLE — Juanita Mae Baker, 94, of Fayetteville died July 14, 2014, at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. She was born Aug. 20, 1919, in Cave Springs to Tom and Mina Ford Graves.
She was member of Lowell Church of Christ. Juanita worked for 13 years at Welch's. She enjoyed reading, collecting dolls and bears, but mostly spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Clarence Baker, son, Tom Luper and grandson, Michael Luper.
She is survived by son, Don Luper of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Janet Pond and husband, Bob, and Jeanette Reeves and husband, Bill, all of Fayetteville; sister, Nadine Poteete and husband, Vaudie J., of Springdale; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today, July 16, at Goad Springs Cemetery in Lowell, with Wayne Simpson officiating.
