MELBOURNE – Helen Puckett, 88, of Melbourne died Friday, Dec. 5, 2008, in Salem.
She was born Oct. 16, 1920, in Russellville. She was united in marriage to Boyd Puckett on September 15, 1946 in Logan County, Arkansas. She was employed by Boeing Aircraft in California, retiring after many years of employment. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a cousin, Gayle Cooper of Melbourne.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.
Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Sunday in New Liberty Cemetery with Gayle Cooper officiating. Arrangements were by Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Pallbearers were Micah Cooper, Eric Morehead, Larry Jackson, Jonathan Gilbreath, Wayne Rush and Rayburn Tate.
