BETHEL HEIGHTS — Christabell "Bell" Bowen, 87, of Bethel Heights passed away Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born Aug. 6, 1926, in Spring Valley, Ark., to Jess and Mae Savage Hamilton.

Christabell was a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the Bethel Heights Church of the Nazarene.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Forest Bowen Sr.; and one son, Bobby Bowen.

Survivors include two sons, Forest Bowen Jr. and wife, Carolyn, of Springdale, and Randy Bowen and wife, Janice, of Rogers; one daughter, Sue Lee and husband, Don, of Springdale; and daughter-in-law, Betty Bowen of Springdale; one sister, Libby Forcum of California; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale, with Pastor Jim Richardson and Pastor Bob Holloway officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
