William Bryan Arnold, 76, Rt. 6, Fayetteville, died March 18 in the VA Hospital, Fayetteville. Born April 17, 1898, in Macedonia, Iowa, he was the son of William Sutton and Alice Anderson Arnold, a retired postal employe, and a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Letah Mount Arnold of the home; three sons, William S. Arnold, Leesville, La., Charles A. Arnold, Tulsa, Okla., and Richard C. Arnold, Chicago, Ill.; one daughter, Mrs. Douglas C. Jones, West Fork; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in Moore's Chapel, Fayetteville. Burial will be in National Cemetery under the direction of Moore's.
