Springdale — Andrew Jackson Gibson, 98, of 1101 E. Rhodes St., died Saturday in the Springdale hospital. Born Nov. 3, 1869 at Spring Valley, was a retired farmer and a Baptist.
Survivors are one son, Harmon of Spring Valley; four daughters, Mrs. Jessie Crowley of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Louellen Morris of Springdale, Mrs. Bertha Dement and Mrs. Esther Stephens, both of Bellegardens, Calif.; one brother, Mack of Springdale; one sister, Mrs. Sarah Ellen Means of Fayetteville; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Phillips Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with burial in Friendship Cemetery under direction of Sisco Funeral Chapel.

Springdale — Mrs. Delana A. Gibson, 88, resident of 115 Cleveland St., died this morning a her home. She was born Dec. 11, 1874.
Surviving are the husband, Jack, of the home; one son, Harmon, Springdale; four daughters, Mrs. Bertha Dement, and Mrs. Esther Stephens, both of Bell Gardens, Calif., Mrs. Jessie Crowley, Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Louella Morris, Springdale; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements, to be announced by Callison-Sisco Funeral Home, are incomplete.
