Springdale - William Wesley Johnson, 83, of Route 2, Springdale, died Sunday in a Fayetteville hospital, He was born Aug. 26, 1882 in Spring Valley, and was a retired farmer and a member of the Pilgrim's Rest Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Ola Means Johnson of the home; one son, T. J. of the home; two daughters, Mrs. V. B. True of Tuttle, Okla. and Mrs. Oliver E. Cook of Fayetteville; one brother, Maston of Tuskahoma, Okla.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Pilgrim's Rest Freewill Baptist Church with burial in Friendship Cemetery under direction or the Callison-Sisco Funeral Home.
