Maggie Bartholomew, 87, of Hogeye died Thursday, July 22, 2004, at Washington Regional Medical Center.
She was born May 27, 1917, at Lee Creek, the daughter of John W. and Myrtle Mae Larue Boyd. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen G. Bartholomew; three brothers, Robert Boyd, Jess Boyd and Marvin Boyd; and four sisters, Sylvia Milsov, Jean Melvin, Hazel Smith and Grace Cockran.
She was a homemaker and mother.
She attended New Sulphur Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Bobby Dee Bartholomew and his wife Mary of Hogeye, Gary Allen Bartholomew and his wife Sue of Fayetteville; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2004, at Moore's Chapel with the Rev. Glen D. Faulkner officiating. Burial will be at Fall Creek Cemetery at Strickler.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. today at Moore's Chapel.
