Betty Lou Brantley, 66, of Mt. Vernon, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at White County Hospital.

She was born June 6, 1944, in Mt. Vernon, a daughter of the late Melvin D. and Dolly Mae (Phillips) McNinch.

Mrs. Brantley was also preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Lee; and sisters, Elaine Graham and Eileen McNinch.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Johnny R. Brantley; her children, Susie Bryant and husband Michael of Perry, Jimmy Brantley and wife, Paula, Wendy Davis and husband Randy, and Debbie Greer, all of Mt. Vernon, Maria Chism of Morrilton, and Angel VonKraus and husband Stan of Little Rock; 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ferrol McNinch of Bee Branch and David McNinch of Conway; sisters, Dean Phillips, Rita Milne and Sharon McNinch all of Illinois and Shirley Green of Morrilton.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway, with the Rev. Gene Craig officiating.

Burial will follow in Cadron Valley Cemetery, with Chris Brantley, John Kukendall, David McNinch, Stan VonKraus, James Greer and Jamie Poteete serving as pallbearers, under the direction of Roller-McNutt Conway, 327-7727.
