Doris Mildred Phillips age 88 of Flippin passed away at the Hospice House of the Ozarks in Mountain Home, Arkansas on Wednesday, November 4, 2015.
Mrs. Phillips was born in East Cotter, Arkansas on April 16, 1927. She was the daughter of the late William Marshall and Norma (Lockwood) Coplen. Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her husband Guy E. Phillips. Mrs. Phillips was retired from the Baxter Lab in Mountain Home. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Flippin, Arkansas.
Mrs. Phillips is survived by: Her son: Gary and his wife Treva of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Her daughter: Guyla Morelock of St. Louis, Missouri, Four Grandchildren: Kerri Cornwall, Tyson Phillips, Mark and Greg Morelock, Five Great-Grandchildren: Brett, Seth and Paige Cornwell. Corbin and Kamryn Phillips, One Brother: Glen Coplen of Oskaloosa, Iowa.
Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by: Her Husband: Guy, Three Brothers: Ernest, Eugene and Loyd, Three Sisters: Dottie Parnell, Irene Siler and Wanda Smith.
Funeral services for Mrs. Phillips will be Friday, November 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Burns Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Glen Hicks officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Morelock, Greg Morelock, Tyson Phillips, Jimmy Mitchner, Seth Cornwall and David Cornwall. Visitation will begin one hour prior to service time at 1:00 p.m.
Interment will follow at the Gassville Cemetery in Gassville, Arkansas.
