Darrell Darnell Everett of Little Rock son of the late Ralph and Nellie Couch Everett was born April 30, 1928 in Brockwell. He died March 26, 1999 in Little Rock. He was 70.
Mr. Everett was united in marriage to Rhudene Dockins on July 16, 1949 in Yakima Washington. To this union two daughters, were born. He worked as a machinist for Meuweley Machine Works and was a grape farmer. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Little Rock.
Survivors include his wife of the home; one daughter, Patricia Edwards of Alexander; one sister Wonnie Hallman of Seattle, Washington; three brothers, Jerry Everett of El Paso; Hairl Everett of Bandmill; and Hub Everett of Oxford and two grandchildren, Michelle Labor of Shreveport, Louisiana and Chris Diemer of Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; one daughter, Vickie Dockins; one sister and two nephews.
Funeral services were held March 28, 1999 at the Roman and Billy Memorial Chapel in Melbourne with Jackie Prince officiating. Pallbearers were Dennis Everett, Ricky Everett, Glenn Everett, Tim Dockins, Steve Stevenson and Tony Crawford. Honorary pallbearers were Glen Davis, Curren Everett, Connie Everett and Kenny Everett.
Interment was at Oxford Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.

Rhudene Dockins Everett, daughter of the late Shafter Dockins and Ona Lee Clark Dockins, was born May 16, 1933 in Bandmill, Arkansas. She departed this life October 31, 2015 in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 82 years, 5 months and 15 days. She was united in marriage to Darrell Everett July 16, 1949 in Yakima, Washington and to this union two daughters were born. She spent her life as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and friend. While living in Little Rock, she was employed by Kmart and Western Sizzlin. She was of the Church of Christ faith and attended Brockwell Church of Christ.
She is survived by: one daughter: Patricia Edwards of Benton; one sister: Shirley Cunningham of North Port, Alabama; two grandchildren: Michelle Diemer-Labor of Tacoma, Washington and Chris Diemer and wife Vicky of Benton; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Darrell Everett; one daughter: Vickie Dockins; three brothers: Clifton Dockins, Pete Dockins and Bill Dockins; three sisters: Vernice Crawford, Ruby Davis and Ala Mae Stevenson.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 4 beginning at 1:30. Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 4 at 2:30 p.m. at Howard Memorial Funeral Chapel in Melbourne with Steve Stevenson officiating. Burial will be at Oxford Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
