February 23, 1919 - April 10, 1979
Mrs. Ruby Bridges COLVERT, 80, of 2255 Macon Street in Camden, died Tuesday in a
local hospital. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Camden
Baptist Temple. Burial will be in Norphlet Cemetery with Camden Funeral Home in
charge. Mrs. Colvert was a housewife and a longtime resident of Camden. She is
survived by her husband Pete Colvert of Odessa, Texas, two sons Teddie Delane
Colvert of Odessa and Roye Eugene Colvert of Camden, two daughters Elizabeth Ann
Colvert of Hawthorne, Calif. and Mrs. Mary Kaye Moore of Camden, three half-
brothers A.C. Bridges of Cahoutta, Ga., M.D. Bridges of Deatsville, Ala. and
J.S. Taylor of Downsville, La., one sister Mrs. Rita Cockrell of Bastrop, La.
and one grandson.
