BENTONVILLE - James Eugene Taylor Sr., 78, of Bentonville passed away Feb. 18, 2015, in Bentonville. He was born Sept. 4, 1936, in Newport, Ark., the son of Erivn and Lucy May Clark Taylor.
He owned and operated Jim's Tire Service in Springdale.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Maude Taylor and one son James E. "Jim" Taylor, Jr. and one granddaughter, Melissa Marie Wilson. Survived by his children, LouAnn Turney of Siloam Springs; Mary Ann Sutherland of Centerton; Ruth Taylor of Bentonville; Tammy Lynch of Springdale and Pammy Taylor of Rogers; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday; Feb. 22, 2015, at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Bella Vista with Pastor James Taylor III and Pastor Dan Fagala officiating. Private interment in the Frisco Springs Cemetery. Memorial contributions to Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements by Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers. BENTONVILLE — Mary Maude Taylor, 74, of Bentonville, passed away Nov. 9, 2011, in Bentonville. Mary was born Sept. 25, 1937, in Indiana, the daughter of Darrel A. and Ida Weaver Frazier.
She was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Bentonville.
She is preceded in death by her son, James E. "Jim" Taylor Jr.
She is survived by her husband, James E. "Jim" Taylor Sr. of the home; five daughters, Lou Ann Taylor-Turney of Gentry, Mary Ann Sutherland of Centerton, Ruth M. Taylor of Rogers, Tammy Lynch of Tontitown and Pammy Taylor of Rogers; two brothers, Darrel Lee Frazier of Chaparral, N.M., and Allen Frazier of Niles, Mich.; nine grandchildren; and four great-granddaughters.
Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Bella Vista, with Pastor James Taylor III and Pastor Dan Fagala officiating. Private burial in the Frisco Springs Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
