Ola Fay (Beene) Nixon Woodworth, 98, of Greenbrier, died February 21, 2012. She was born to the late James and Lizzie Scott Beene on October 24, 1913, in Pleasant Valley, AR. She married Pierce Nixon on March 24, 1934 and Jake Woodworth on June 17, 1978. She worked at the Arsenal in Jacksonville, AR, during World War II and worked at International Shoe Factory in Conway, retiring after 27 years of service. She was a long time member of Springhill Baptist Church and 14 years at Faith Baptist Church, in North Little Rock,until coming back to Springhill Church for the past 20 years. She was the oldest member of Springhill Church.

She is preceded in death by both husbands, Pierce Nixon and Jake Woodworth, her parents: three brothers, Bill Beene, Clinton Beene, and Lewis Beene; two sisters Mary Eunice Burroughs, her twin sister, Ora Mae Kirby, and a step-grandson, Ricky Woodworth.

Survivors include her daughters Willette Troutman and husband Ed of Greenbrier, and Bonnie Lewis and husband James Lee of Sarasota, FL; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and two great- great grandchildren; two sisters, Hattie Davis of Wooster and Katherine Clouette of Little Rock and many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family wishes to say a special thank you to all the staff at Salem Place Nursing Home and the Greenbrier Nursing Center for the special care Ola has received over the past 14 years.

Services will be held at 11:00 am, on Saturday, February 25, at Springhill Baptist Church with Bro,. Ed Stephenson officiating. Interment will be at Springhill Cemetery with Royce Kirby, Dalton Davis, Gary Burroughs, Johnny Clifton, Don Carter and Jerry Garrett serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, on Friday, February 24, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier.

Memorials may be made to Springhill Baptist Church, Building Fund.
