Albert J. Linker, age 69, of Alexander, Ark., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, at his home. He was born Jan. 21, 1944, in Woodson, Ark. Albert was a retired Diesel Mechanic, a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a member or Village Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Linker and Verdna Mae Mills Linker.Survivors are his son, Joe Allen Linker of Little Rock; daughter and son-in-law, Shellie Watson and husband Michael of Cypress, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Dot Jones and husband Wayne of Paron, Ark.; and five grandchildren.Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ashby's.Church services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Village Creek Baptist Church, with burial at 12:30 p.m. at Needs Creek Cemetery near Conway by Ashby Funeral Home in Benton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Village Creek Baptist Church, 13224 Sardis Rd., Mabelvale, Ark. 72103.
