Norman W. Marquis, 69, Rogers, died Aug. 7 at Rogers Memorial Hospital. Born Sept. 24, 1907, the son of Patrick and Anne Cheff Marquis, he was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was manager of Le Marquis Town and Country Motel, Rogers, and a former retail service manager for Daisy Mfg. Co.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Marquis, of the home; one son, Jarrett Marquis, Coronado, Calif.; one, daughter, Annette Marquis, Algion, Mich.; one brother, Bernard Marquis, Northville, Mich.; one sister, Valerie Riley, Northville; two grandchildren.
Funeral mass will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church with Msgr. John E. Murphy officiating. Burial will be at St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery, Rogers, with visitation this evening from 7-9 p.m. at Callison Funeral Home, Rogers. Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund.
