Wabern Leslie Glover, 91, of Greenbrier, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2006.
He was born June 30, 1915 in Greenbrier to the late Samuel Andrew Glover and Ruth Lowry Glover.
He was preceded in death by his brother, James Harley Glover; his sister, Laverne Glover Whitaker and her husband Eldridge.
He was a retired farmer and sheet metal worker, graduated from Greenbrier High School and was a member of Needs Creek Baptist Church.
He served in the U. S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Jessie Lee Hoggard Glover; son, Eddie Wabern Glover and wife Pam of Conway; grandchildren, Kristen Riddle and husband Jeremy of Greenbrier, Sam Glover of Conway; great grandchildren, Payton, Preston and Sydney Riddle.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Needs Creek Baptist Church with Dr. Joel Slayton, Dr. Ron Mitchell and Rev. Patrick Hughs officiating. Burial will follow in Needs Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
Pallbearers will be James Glover Jr., James Glover III, Gary Whitaker, Glen Hoggard, Bob Lowry, Larry Whitaker, Mark Hoggard, and Jim Henderson. Honorary pallbearers will be the Joy Sunday School Class.
Memorials may be made to the Needs Creek Baptist Church or Needs Creek Cemetery.
