December 2, 1927 - July 7, 2013
Maxine Green Talburt, of Optimus, was born December 2, 1927, at Herpel, Arkansas. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at the age of 85 years, 7 months, and 5 days.
She gave her life to the Lord at an early age and has been a member of Flatwoods Missionary Baptist Church for the past 67 years.
Preceding her in death was her husband of 60 years, J.M. Green, her parents Carter and Eulala Bright, stepmother Clara Bright, grandparents Otto and Lula Walls, and brother Jim Bright.
She is survived by her husband of 6 years, Harold; daughters, Dianna Cox (Jr), and Karen Looney (Jim) of Mountain View, stepdaughter, Kathy Martin (Dennis) of California, sister Mary Chaney (Rue) of Pyatt, Ar., 14 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be July 9, 2013 at Crouch Funeral Home from 6-8pm and services will be Wednesday, July 10, 2013, 11am at Flatwoods Baptist Church. Interment will be at Flatwoods Cemetery.
