Rogers — Joseph Victor Horstman, 60, of Rogers, died Tuesday in the Rogers hospital. Born Nov. 16, 1913 in Parkston, S.D., the son of Joseph V. and Gertrude Lang Horstman, he was a retired farmer and a Catholic.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Marie Fergen Horstman of the home; one son, Joel of Des Moines, Iowa; one daughter, Mrs. Elayne McLain of St. Paul, Minn.; two brothers, Henry of Parkston, S.D., and Edward of Nora Springs, Iowa; five sisters, Mrs. Mary Mayer, Mrs. Vina Thomas, Mrs. Alma Deegan and Mrs. Esther Gukeisen of Parkston and Mrs. Theela Schmitz of St. Paul and four grandchildren.
Rosary service will be at 6 p.m. today at Burns Funeral Chapel. Memorial services will he at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church with burial in St. Vincent De Paul Cemetery.
The Mass of Christian Burial after Easter will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.
