Matthew Alan Acre, born in Danville, Ark., January 25, 1977, died March 6, 2012 in North Little Rock. Survivors include his parents, Bob and Margaret Acre; and his older brother, Jon Acre. For the last 15 years Matt worked as an electrician, having attained the Journeyman classification in 2008. He worked many years for Arnold & Blevins Electric Company.

Matt leaves behind many friends, co-workers, cousins, aunts, uncles and two very special little ones - a nephew, Blaine Evans Acre, and a niece, Aubree Alice Acre. They loved their uncle Matt very much and he always had "play-time" for them. The family is so appreciative of the expressions of love, concern and offers of all kinds of help in our time of loss. We are comforted most of all by our Heavenly Father, the Comforter of all men.

There will be a gathering of family and friends March 10th at the Sylvan Hills Church of Christ, 117 West Maryland Ave, Sherwood Ark. at 10:30 a.m. A brief memorial service for Matt will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the same address.

Something that would please Matt very much would be for you to consider making a donation in his memory to John 3:16 Ministries – a Ministry for men with addictions – 75 Holmes Road, Charlotte Arkansas 72522.

Matt would also be very pleased to know that you dressed very casually for the Service. "Camo" or Ducks Unlimited clothing are appropriate. See online obituary and guest registry at www.arkansasfuneralcare.com.
