Monday, November 11, 1974
Harold H. Bacon, 70, Buffalo, Mo., died Nov. 10 in a Springfield, Mo., hospital. Born July 5, 1904, in Greenfield, Iowa, he was the son of Harley and Josie Lombard Bacon, and was a member of the Church of Christ and a retired painting contractor.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Juanita Bacon of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Monica McAlister and Mrs. Maureen Branstetter, both of Springfield, Mo., and Miss Marguerite Bacon of Fayetteville; one stepson, Max Pantburn, Atlantic, Iowa; one sister, Mrs. Lola Edwards, Griswald, Iowa; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Nelson Funeral Home in Fayetteville, with Rev. Jim Schudy officiating. Burial will be in Baptist Ford Cemetery under direction of Nelson.
