Bernice Wildrick, 80, of Hoxie, died March 25, 2008, at her home.
Born Dec. 21, 1927, in the Shelbyville community in Sharp County, she was the daughter of Paul and Cora (McGinnis) Milligan.
She worked as a cook at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center for several years and was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge.
Survivors include two sons, Paul Wildrick, Savoy, Texas, and Billy Lynn Wildrick, Oak Ridge, Ore.; a brother, Paul V. Milligan, Waterloo, Ill.; four sisters, Joyce Ward, Summerville, S.C., Joan Wallis and Wanda McCormic, both of Hoxie, and Christine Bagley, Walnut Ridge; five grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Saturday at 2 p.m. in Higginbotham Chapel with Rev. Leroy Scudder officiating. Burial was in Milligan Campgroud Cemetery, near Strawberry, under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Service.
