Willie Lee Sutterfield, 86, of Greenbrier, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2009. Born in Martinville, AR, she was a daughter to the late J.F. and Dora (Rhodes) Harmon.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was a member of the Robinson and Center Streets Church of Christ. She had worked for International Shoe Company and Conway Public Schools before retirement.
Willie Lee was preceded in death by her husband John R. Sutterfield, a daughter Dolores Jo Tew ; two sisters, four brothers, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Survivors include her sons: Jim Sutterfield and wife Floyma of Greenbrier, Larry Sutterfield and wife Kathy and Rick Sutterfield and wife Peggy all of Conway; twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, many great great-grandchildren; her special friends Linda Tyler, Sherril and Marcielle Breeding and and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 30 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 31, at the funeral home with Glen Elliott officiating. Interment will be at Martinville Cemetery near Damascus with her grandsons, Terry Tew, Danny Tew, Gary Tew, Dustin Sutterfield, Andy Sutterfield, David Sutterfield and Stephen Sutterfield serving as pallbearers.
