Joyce Lucas, 80, of Damascus, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2009. She was born February 26, 1929 in Damascus to the late Ola Lee and Gola Mae Payne Lee. She was preceded in death by her husband of 21 years James Don Lucas; son, Jackie Lucas; brother, Ben Lee and sister Mary “Polly” Janes.
She was a member of the Martinville Church of Christ and former board member of the Faulkner County 4-H Foundation and 4-H leader.
She is survived by her children, Donna Graham of Fayetteville, Terry and Gary Lucas of Damascus, Janette Breeding and husband Benny, Lisa Lucas, Jon Lucas and wife Sue all of Conway; 4 grandchildren, James Breeding, Christi Johnson, Frank Graham, J. D. Lucas; 2 great grandchildren, Lucas Breeding and Piper Breeding.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Greenbrier, (501) 679-2575, with Don Adkins and Tim Copeland officiating. Burial will be at Martinville Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be E. F. McMillen, Bill Mahan, Marvin Sams, Dickey McMillen, Mickey McMillen, Tim Odom.
Memorials may be made to the Faulkner County 4-H Foundation.
