Ronald Harrison Sr., 79 of Damascus died May 18th, 2007 in Little Rock. Born July 3, 1927, he was a son to the late Worth and Georgia Murray Harrison. Mr. Harrison was an Army veteran having served in Germany during WWII. He was a dairy farmer and cattle rancher for 37 years and a past member of the Cattleman’s Association.

He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Bob, Kenneth and Dick and a grandson Stephen Mahan.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years Sue; a son Ronnie and wife Sybil of Damascus, two daughters Sandra Hartwick and husband Bruce of Tumbling Shoals, and Janis Hensley and husband Jim of Springfield. Survivors also include 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, one brother and one sister.

Graveside services will be conducted by Roller McNutt at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at Martinville Cemetery in Damascus. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday May 21st, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier.

Pallbearers are: Andy Miller, Allen Miller, Delmar Leslie, Gary Clements, Ralph Webb and Paul Harrison and Honorary pallbearer D.B. Hill Jr.

Sue (Wiedower) Harrison was born on October 30, 1930 in Guy, AR. She went to be with the Lord on November 21, 2008. Sue was preceded in death by her cherished husband of 58 years Ronald Harrison, Sr. Sue was also preceded in death by her parents Druley Herman and Hazel Merle (Stacks) Wiedower; a brother, Eugene Wiedower and a beloved grandson, Stephen Lynn Mahan.


Sue is survived by one son Ronald (Ronnie) Harrison, Jr. and wife Sybil of Damascus, AR; two daughters: Sandra Hartwick and husband Bruce of Tumbling Shoals, AR and Janis Hensley and husband Jim of Springfield, AR and a special friend Jennie Moses Mauldin and husband Jim of Damascus. She is also survived by two sisters: Francis Stone of Conway and Sharon Ward of Damascus; one brother Gary Wiedower of Collierville, TN; 6 grandchildren: Jeremy Hoffman and wife Sarah, Alicia Williamson and husband Matt, Cindy Holzhauser, Katie Hattenhouser and husband Jeremy, Tyler Mahan and Jacob Noland; seven great-grandchildren: Hunter, Kyleigh, Natalie, Kyle, Logan, Lauren and Bailey.

She was a homemaker and retired from St. Andrews Nursing Home, in Conway, after nine years. She and her husband, Ronald, were dairy farmers. Sue was of the Church of Christ faith.

Family visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 24, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home, with
Bro. Jim Mullins and Kay Moser officiating. Interment will follow at Martinville Cemetery in Damascus with Paul Harrison, Brandon Benson, Alan Carmichael, Andy Miller, Alan Miller and Ralph Webb serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers are Delmar Leslie, D.B. Hill, Jim Mauldin, her nephews and great nephews.
