Orpha Estes (Garner) Frey, age 103, of Hardy, AR passed away Saturday September 12, 2015 at Ash Flat Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born January 7, 1912 in Hardy, AR. The daughter of the late Joseph (Joe) and Francis Arkansas (Kansie) Smith.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husbands Ralph Garner and Raymond Frey, an infant son, Harold Thomas Garner, great grandson, Cody Tyler Morgan, brothers Raymond, Elbert, Gene, and Joe Smith, sisters Eva Wilmuth and Ruth Witkowski.
She is survived by one brother, Orman Smith and a sister, Pauline Howard, both of Little Rock, two sons, John Garner (Mary) of Keystone Heights, FL and Paul Garner (Carolyn) of Hardy, of Hardy, AR, one daughter Gloria Carlson (John) of Sarasota, FL. Seven grandchildren, Debra Slingo (Mark), Terry Hall (Ronnie), Shelly Garner, Melody Morgan (Rick), Ginger Ford (Jay), Cheri Carlson and Cary Carlson and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 PM Saturday September 19, 2015, service will follow at 2 PM at Wortham Funeral Home. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery in Williford, AR. For further information, please call Wortham Funeral Home in Highland, AR at (870)856-5656.
