Jackie W. Griffin, 61, of Conway, died Thursday (Nov. 6, 2003) at his home.
Born May 19, 1942, in England, a son of Freddie Harrington Griffin of Greenbrier and the late R.D. Griffin, he was a Baptist, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, employed by the State of Arkansas Department of Emergency Management as a field services coordinator and a former police officer for Conway.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Chance.
Other survivors are his daughter, Courtney Griffin Cato of Cabot; a son, Cole Griffin of Greenbrier; two grandchildren; a sister, Geneva Brannan of Fayetteville; and a brother, Mackie Griffin of Greenbrier.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Baptist Church in Greenbrier with Gaylon King and Johnny Harrington officiating. Burial will be in Faith Baptist Cemetery in Greenbrier.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
Pallbearers will be Rick Kelley, Jerry Coney, Jim Hardy, Tom Lindsey, Dewane Stone, Lyndel Lybarger, Joe Ellzey and Tommy Graham.
