FARMINGTON — Renie Higgs, 67, of Farmington died March 18, 2000, at Fayetteville City Hospital. She was born Dec. 25, 1932, at Las Cruces, N.M., to William H. and Gwendolyn Watson Coleman. She was a homemaker and a member of Little Elm Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and painting. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Higgs.
Survivors include one son, Reggie Higgs of Farmington; one daughter, Mary Sandsness of Eucha, Okla.; two sisters, Jean Virden of Big Lake, Texas and Marjorie Holm of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren; two great-granddaughters.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Little Elm Missionary Baptist Church with Michael McCoy and Jeff Hart officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville. Memorials may be made to Friendship Cemetery Association, c/o Pauline Paulk, 10588 East Highway 156, West Fork, 74774.
