ELKINS — Phillip Wayne Bearden, 71, of Elkins died Nov. 14, 2002, in Little Rock. He was born Nov. 15, 1930, in Springdale to Wayne W. and Hilma Iola Bearden Ballard. He was a retired truck driver and a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Bearden.
Survivors include three daughters, Phyllis L. Johnson of Elkins, Teresa Easter of Bentonville and Kathy Bearden of Texas; three sons, Tim Bearden of Elkins and Joseph Bearden, both of Elkins, and Royce Bearden of Texas; one brother, Mickey Ballard of West Fork; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tueday at Friendship Cemetery in West Fork under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
