ROGERS — Joan Julia Strzyzynski Lynch, 73, of Rogers died Aug. 8, 2000, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. She was born May 20, 1927, in Chicago, Ill., to John and Mary Kusior Strzyzynski.

She moved to the area 17 years ago. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the Ladles VFW Auxiliary. She worked in the surgical environmental services at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers for 16 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo R. Lynch, on Nov. 14, 1998.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Leo Lynch Jr. and Bonnie of Adams, Wis.; one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Coles and James of Rogers; two brothers, Michael Strzyzynski of Bedford, Texas, and Harold Strzyzynski of Plant City, Fla.; three sisters, Theresa Hartwig of Wheeling, Ill., Dorothy Werdell of Libertyville, Ill., and Lorraine Lucas of East Troy, Wis.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Mike Sinkler officiating. Burial will be in St. Vincent Cemetery.

Visitation with a prayer service will he from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Burns Funeral Home in Rogers.
