Bobetta Joy Poole, 75, of Conway, formerly of Guy, went to be with her Lord on Monday, September 30, 2013. Born in Tulane, California she was a daughter to the late Gabriel Andrew and Nettie Lee (Gibson) Henderson. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Andrea Poole four sons: Windell (Susie), Tim, Milton (Sharon), and Marc (Karen) ; eleven grandchildren: Ky, Lucas, Joe, Corinda, Marie, Jason, Alex, Cheyne, Tristian, Talon, and Tori, ; six great-grandchildren, Landon, Hollie, Alissa, Austin, Storie, and Baylee. Also surviving are her three sisters: Barbara Smith, Brenda Mealer and Glenda McCready.
Bobetta was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Arch Poole and her previously mentioned parents.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, October 4, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier, with Bro. Ed Stephenson officiating. Interment will follow at Copperas Springs Cemetery in Guy, with Jeff Smith, Rony Jones, Gabe Jones, Andy McCready, Dennis Poole and Josh Morris serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are, Lucas Harrell, D.C. Poole, Jim Jones and J. J. McCready Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
