Charles' parents were Sidney Parsons and Edna Addie Warner Parsons; Margaret's parents were Jessie M. Tate and Myrtle Berry Tate.

Charles Edward Parsons, 91, of Walnut Ridge passed away from this life on September 7, 2015 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.
Born August 2, 1924 at Marked Tree, son of Sidney and Edna Addie Warner Parsons. He was a proud farmer all of his life and a member of the Hoxie First Baptist Church.
He was united in marriage to Margaret Louise Tate October 28, 1951, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded by his parents, Sidney and Edna Parsons; sons, Rickey Lynn and Charles David Parsons; daughter, Margaret Ann Smith; brothers, Chester, Junior & Chelsey Parsons and sisters, Mary Mathews, Patsy Carley, Mabel Lamb and Alice Gillaspie.
Survivors include, two daughters, Betty Dickson (James) of Walnut Ridge and Addie Willfond (Bo) of Alicia; two sons, Edward Parsons (Cathy) of Hoxie and Jerry Parsons (Pam) of Pocahontas; two brothers, John Parsons (Barbara) of Hot Springs and Ray Parsons (Marsha) of Portia; a sister, Beatrice Manning of Rock Falls, Illinois; twelve grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be, Chris Dickson, Tyler Dickson, Dylan Dickson, Logan Dickson, Anthony Willfond, Caleb Hines, Michael Parsons, Larry Willfond and Jaceb Hines.
