Viola O. Lane Nelson, 86 of Conway died Wednesday, May 19, 2004. She was born in Guy, Arkansas on November 30, 1917 to the late Thomas Jackson and Doshie Acre Lane. She was of the Church of Christ faith. She is predeceased by husband of 49 years: B.M. Fite.
She is survived by her husband of 19 years: John Nelson, by three sons: Tom Fite of Colombia, CA., Lee Fite of Quitman, AR., and Jimmy Fite of Reno, NV., by a sister: Alma McGinty of Greenbrier, AR. Also, by a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Saturday, 10:00 a.m. at Copperas Springs Cemetery, Guy, Arkansas with Travis Lane officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Friday.
