Barbara A. Hooten, 81, of Greenbrier went to be with the Lord, Monday, October 12, 2015. She was born Tuesday, January 31, 1933 to the late Thomas and Ollie Fielder Spears.

She is survived by one son, Bill Hooten and wife Kathy of Greenbrier; two daughters, Karen Graham and husband Farrell of Greenbrier and Kelly Kaskie and husband Leonard of Little Rock; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends who all loved her dearly and will miss her greatly.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years William T. “Bill” Hooten; one brother, T. L. Spears; two sisters, Martha Barton and Elfleta Baker.

Funeral service will be 10:00am., Thursday, October 15, 2015 at the Church of Christ in Guy with Brother Clark Hooten and Brother Greg Hooten officiating. Interment will follow at Copperas Springs Cemetery in Guy.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00pm Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier.

Lt. Col. (Ret.) William Thorn Hooten, Sr., 77, of Greenbrier, Arkansas, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, November 22, 2013. He was born in Guy, to the late George Thurman and Ethel Irene (Thorn) Hooten.

He was a retired Army Aviator and served two tours of duty in Vietnam. He also retired from Missouri Pacific/Union Pacific Railroad. He was a heart transplant recipient of twenty-one years and a member of the Guy Church of Christ where he served as treasurer.

Those left to mourn his passing are his wife of sixty- one-years, Barbara (Spears) Hooten of Greenbrier; son William T. Hooten, Jr. and wife Katherine of Greenbrier; two daughters, Karen A. Graham and husband Farrell of Greenbrier and Kelly L. Kaskie and husband Leonard of Little Rock; sister, Verple Baker and husband Gene of Greenbrier; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services are set for 2:00p.m., Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at the Guy Church of Christ with Dan Newsom and Clark Hooten officiating. Burial will follow in Copperas Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00p.m., Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier.

Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Hooten, Andrew Hooten, Farrell Ray Graham, Jr., Nicholas Brewer, Patrick Moore, Anthony Goodman, Jospeh Mode and Sean Talbert. Honorary pallbearers are Farrell Ray Graham, Sr. and Leonard J. Kaskie, Jr.
