ROGERS — Mary Jo King, 82, of Rogers, Ark., died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011, at her residence. She was born July 22, 1928, in Boone County, Mo., to Clyde and Stella Jo Riley.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and a wonderful friend to many. Mary Jo enjoyed gardening and caring for her animals. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Rogers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Alan King, Dec. 8, 2009, and one brother, Clay Riley.
Mary Jo is survived by one son, Jeff King and wife, Kristi, of Rogers, Ark.; one daughter, Jennifer King of Rogers, Ark.; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan, 15, 2011, at Stockdale Funeral Chapel in Rogers.
Burial will be in Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers.
A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until service time.
Memorials may be made in honor of Mary Jo King to Grace Baptist Church, 2409 W. New Hope Road, Rogers, AR 72758-1349.
Arrangements are by Stockdale Funeral Services of Rogers.
