Nerene Anna Goetz Schwartz, 95, widow of Leonard Paul Schwartz, died Thursday at Dermott Nursing Home. Mrs. Schwartz was born September 6, 1917, at Lodge Corner, Arkansas, to Albert and Sadie Goetz. She was a member of Lodge Corner United Methodist Church and a homemaker.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Heien. Survivors are her son, Billy Schwartz of McGehee; son-in-law, Sonny Heien of Stuttgart; three nieces, Sharon Burns Coffield of Birmingham, Alabama, Velma Jean Goetz Simpson of Stuttgart and Freda Ray Abbott of Hot Springs; five grandchildren, Richard Heien and Wayne Heien of Stuttgart, Mike Schwartz and Sid Schwartz of McGehee and Jon Schwartz of Benton; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Sunday at Lone Tree Cemetery chapel with visitation from 1 p.m. until service time at Lone Tree Cemetery chapel.
