ROGERS — Alberta M. French, 85, of Rogers died Dec. 7, 2006, at Innisfree Skilled Nursing Center in Rogers. She was born June 26, 1921, in Los Angeles to William H. Burton and Rheua A. Lewin. She was a homemaker and enjoyed knitting and sewing. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Johnny French.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Harry French of the home; one son, Harry W. "Skip" French Jr. of Rogers; one daughter, Roberta Kappen and husband Richard of Rogers; one brother, Donald Burton of Rogers; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers. Chaplain David Hadsell will officiate.
