Son of Thomas D and Annie Arizona Anderson Cunningham
"Snooks" Marvin Cunningham, 81, of Paris died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2000, at a Fort Smith hospital. He was a retired coal miner and farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Avis Lorene (Spears) Cunningham and his nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Bobby, Mark, Troy, James, Mike, Mark, Herman Michael, Loren and James Cunningham, Steven Rice, Michael Atchison and Manuel Horne.

Avis Lorene Cunningham, 88, of Paris died Friday, Dec. 5, 2003, in Springfield, Mo., of natural causes. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Maude May Cox Spears; her husband, Marvin Cunningham; and a sister, Opel Fay Davis. A Masonic service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, at Roller Chapel in Paris with burial at Baxley Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris. She is survived by a sister, Ova Marie Collier of California; two brothers, H.L. Spears of Porterville, Calif., and Owen W. Spears of Porterville, Calif. Pallbearers will be Cal Dodd, Manuel Horne, Larry Lievsay, Steve Rice, Herman Cunningham and Bobby Cunningham.
