Margaret Ann Haney Felton, daughter of the late Walter Lee Haney and Vida Verlene Smith Haney, was born March 6, 1946 in Belview, Arkansas. She departed this life July 13, 2015 at her home in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 68 years, 4 months and 7 days. She was united in marriage to Lowell Dean “Cotton” Felton November 5, 1965 and to this union two sons were born. She spent her life as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, care giver, homemaker and friend.
She is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law: Lee and Bridget Felton of Batesville and Dean and Tiffany Felton of Wideman; one brother: Glen Haney and wife Gail of Wentachee, Washington; five grandchildren: Tyler Felton, Zachary Felton, Ezechial Felton, Jeremy Felton and Zebediah Felton and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and one brother: James Haney.
Funeral service will be Thursday, July 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Howard Memorial Funeral Chapel in Melbourne with Rick Burke officiating. Burial will be at LaCrosse Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 15 from 6-8 p.m. at Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Pallbearers: Johnny Neal, Rodney Hoskins, Roy Greenway, Dennis Harmon, Eddie Roberts, Jake Roberts.
Honorary Pallbearers: Oxford Happy Chicks, Jerry Phipps, Jim Phipps, Tom Phipps, Steve Phipps, Dean Phipps, Junior Phipps, Gale Phipps, Mike Phipps and Paul Phipps.
