Ruthe M. Yates, 60, resident of Lincoln, died Friday in a Prairie Grove hospital after an extended illness. She was born July 28, 1901, at Cane Hill, the daughter of William N. and Correne Carrington Tyree. She was a member or the Presbyterian Church and Rebecca Lodge 102 of Lincoln. Survivors include her widower, Harry Yates, of the home; two sons, Ronald B. Starr of Kansas City, Kan., and Bill L. Campbell of Twenty Nine Palms, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Correne Padgett and Mrs. Jessie Fern Jay of Lincoln, and Mrs. Bula Hall of Prairie Grove; three brothers, Bon Tyree of Bonanza, Ore., Oscar Tyree of Prairie Grove, and L.D. Tyree of Fayetteville; and one grandchild. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Presbyterian Church in Lincoln. Burial will be in Cane Hill Cemetery under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home of Lincoln.
