Prairie Grove — Stanley Winfield Yates, 82, of Clyde, died Thursday, in a Fayetteville hospital. Born May 18, 1889 at Richmond, the son of W.W. and Maude Richmond Yates, he was a retired merchant and postmaster.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Louise Brewster of Fort Smith and Mrs. Marie Benton of Tulsa; one son, Bill of Little Rock; two brothers, Harry of Lincoln and Forrest of Clyde; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Clyde Community Church with burial in Cane Hill Cemetery under direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Prairie Grove — Mrs. Willie Annie Yates, 75, of the Cycle community, died at her home Dec. 3. She was born March 13, 1891 at Richmond, the daughter of William Martin and Eliza Jeaniune Merriwether and was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Survivors are the husband, Stanley Yates of the home; one son, Bill of Little Rock; two daughters, Mrs. A. C. Brewster of Fort Smith and Mrs. A. A. Benton of Tulsa; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was to be at 2 p.m. today at Clyde Community Church with burial in Cane Hill Cemetery under direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
