Pauline Cannon, 94, of Paris died Tuesday, July 1, 2008, in Charleston. She was born Aug. 16, 1913, in Paris to her parents, Benjamin and Virgie (Mainard) Martindale (now deceased). She was a homemaker, enjoyed cooking and a member of Lighthouse Worship Center. She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Rhonda Lynne Rickman; four brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Nell Rickman and husband John of Downey, Calif.; two sons, Herman Black and wife Grace of Paris and James David Cannon and wife Mary of Paris; sisters, Verlin Crow of Carlsbad, N.M., Hattie Stephens of Paris, Ruth Robinson of Paris and Vera Green of Florida; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers: Jackie Turner, Phillip Moore, Ed Beerman, John Allen, Houston Conner, Robert Lovelace, Junior Crane.
Honorary pallbearers: Ray Bradley and granddaughters, Stephanie, Suzanne, Sarah and Shannon Cannon.
