Brenda the daughter of Coy Cecil McCracken and Ellar (Turner) McCracken.


Brenda Jean Whitlow, 58, of Newark, formerly of Lynn, died March 18, 2010, at White River Medical Center in Batesville. Born Oct. 12, 1951, in Batesville, she was a homemaker and a member of Maple Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Rosie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Coy and Ellar Turner McCracken; and a brother, Terry McCracken.

Survivors include her husband, Randy Whitlow; a daughter, Catina Alveshire Wood, Cave City; two brothers, Gary McCracken, Newark, and Mike McCracken, Sulphur Rock; and two sisters, Cara Wanda Thacker, Lafe, and Sandra Harrelson, Henderson, N.C.

Graveside service was Monday at 10 a.m. at Dry Creek Cemetery with Curt Howard officiating. Roller-Crouch/McGee Funeral Home of Cave City had charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Billy Hartley, James Edwards, Johnny Lewis, Seth Sanders, Jimmy Rouse and Damien Wood.
