Raymond Willis, 85 died Thursday at the Stonebridge House Campus in Bedford, Indiana. He was born October 29, 1927 in Lawrence County to Houston and May Pickney Willis and had lived in Lawrence County and Michigan before moving to Indiana in 2002. He was a member of the church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Vernon Willis and two sisters, Lucille Willis and Wilma Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda Hall Willis of the home; daughter, Joann Fields and husband Michael of Bedford, Indiana; sons, Jamey Willis and wife Debby, Jerry Willis and wife Sandy all of Shelby Township in Michigan; one sister, Ruby Hill of Pocahontas; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at House-Gregg Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Powhatan Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday, 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Glenda Sue Willis,92, of Bedford, Indiana, died at IU Health Bedford Hospital on Saturday, September 23, 2023. She was born at Powhatan, Arkansas on April 9, 1931 to Edward Morgan and Ruth King Hall. She was the widow of Raymond Willis. Glenda was a faithful member of the church of Christ. She lived in Bedford for over 21 years after being a school bus driver in Michigan. Glenda was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Raymond Willis; her parents, Edward and Ruth Hall; and her brothers, Paul and Charles Hall.
Left to mourn her passing are her daughter, Joann and Mike Fields; her sons, Jamey and Debbie Willis, and Jerry and Sandra Willis; her brother, Brooks Hall, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, and many other family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at Powhatan Cemetery on Monday, October 2, 2023 at 11 am. House Gregg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
