Janie E. Tyler, 65, of Conway, passed away Friday, September 25, 2009.
She was born July 10, 1944, in Conway, a daughter of the late Major and Bill Clifton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, H.O. Tyler.
She retired from Conway Human Development Center as a program coordinator.
She is survived by her son, Greg Tyler and wife Cindy of Conway; two grandchildren, Christopher Tyler and Christina Tyler, both of Conway; and three sisters, Peggy Sanson and husband Kenneth of Enola, Joanne Lester and husband Charles and Jackie Clark and husband Don, all of Conway.
The family would like to give a special thank you to all the people who help provide care for Janie through her long battle with Alzheimers.
Funeral services will be Monday at 3:00 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Burial will follow at Thorn Cemetery in Greenbrier.
Visitation is Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
