Samalita Snowden-Martin, age 43, of Malvern passed away Friday, July 11, 2008 in Hot Springs. She was born December 16, 1964, in Conway, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. She loved flowers and to decorate her home.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Samuel M. Snowden, Pauline Foster and Phyllis Millican.

Survivors are her father Sam Snowden and wife Jackie of Greenbrier, AR. Mother, Gayle Overturf of Malvern, Two sons, Brody and Dandy Martin and daughter Sady Martin all of the home. One brother, Thad Snowden and wife Shelly of Bryant, grandparents Winnie Snowden of Greenbrier and James and Opal Martin of Malvern and niece Lauren Snowden and companion, John Studer of Malvern.

Visitation will be Monday July 14, from 6PM until 8PM at Regency.

The body will lie in state from 9AM until service at the Church.

Funeral will be 10:00AM Tuesday, July 15, at the Spring Hill Baptist Church in Greenbrier,AR. with Reverend Ed Stephenson officiating. Burial will follow in Thorn Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Thad, Steve, Tim, and Robbie Snowden, Danny Snowden Jr and Bryan Mobbs. Honorary pallbearers are Teeters Jr. Babe Ruth Baseball Team and Coaches.

In Lieu of Flowers a fund has been set up at MNB Bank for Children of Samalita.

Arrangements are by Regency Funeral Home.
