SPRINGDALE — Opal Beatrice Clark, 87, of Walnut Grove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Springdale died Feb, 18, 2009. She was born Feb. 21, 1921, in Savoy to Daniel Joseph and Roxie Lena Morris Layne.
She was a 50-year member of Zion's Rest Primitive Baptist Church in Centerton. She was an avid gardener. She worked as a caregiver for many years.
Survivors include three children, David Clark, Carylon Cox and husband James, and Pam Bohannon and husband Don; four granddaughters; one stepgrandson; six great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; one brother, Arnold Layne; one sister, Jewel Porter.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, online at www.wassonfuneralhome.com. James Isaacs will officiate.
Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery at Savoy.
