Jerry Lee Engle, 74, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on December 11, 2013 at Stone County Medical Center. He was born on April 29, 1939 in Mountain View, Arkansas to the late L.C. and Amy (Tinkle) Engle. He was a loving son, husband, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be greatly missed.
He is survived by three sons, Bill Engle of Hayden, Colorado, J.R. Engle of Mountain View, Arkansas, and Bob Engle of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one brother, John Engle of Mountain View, Arkansas; two sisters, Mary Little of Griggsville, Illinois and Babbetta Engle of Batesville, Arkansas; sixteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Doris Engle; parents, L.C. and Amy Engle, and one brother, Pete Engle.
A visitation will take place on Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 5-8 PM at the Roller Coffman Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Services will take place on Monday, December 16, 2013, 2:00PM at the Roller Coffman Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Brother Tommy Williams is officiating.
Interment will take place at Levisy Flat Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are James Fletcher, Russell Sutterfield, Vern Stair, Patrick Stair, Cecil Becker, Rex Bowers, Nathan Lester, and Gill Bowers.
