Doris Engle, 69, of Mountain View entered into rest on June 25, 2011 in Mountain View.
Doris was born October 14, 1941 in Dunklin County, Missouri to Ted Wesley Owen and Lena Mae (King) Hackworth.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Engle of the home; sons, Bill and Tammi Engle of Hayden, Colorado, J.R. and Teri Engle of Heber Springs, AR, Bob and Vanessa Engle of Jonesboro, AR; brothers, Don and Barbara Hackworth of Hoxie, AR, Charles Larry Hackworth of Ravenden Springs, AR, Richard and Vida Hackworth of Pocahontas, AR, and Ted and Trina Hackworth of Piggott, AR; sisters, Peggy and Jim March of Marshall, MO, Mary Dulaney of Hoxie, AR, and Lucy Brown of Pocahontas, AR; sixteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Ted Wesley Owen and Lena Mae King Hackworth and brothers, David Joe and Jim Hackworth.
Visitation is 6 – 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2010 at Roller Crouch Chapel, Mtn. View, AR.
Funeral service is 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 29, 2010 at Roller Crouch Chapel, Mtn. View with Bro. Tommy Williams officiating and interment in Levisy Flat Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Steve Hackworth, Greg Hackworth, Robert Gean Crass, John Dulaney, Jason Hackworth, and James Fletcher. Honorary pallbearers are Josh Engle, Ryan Engle, Levi Engle, Adam Hackworth, Jimmy March, Stanley Hackworth and Tom Dulaney.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home, Mtn. View is in charge of the arrangements.
