Addie Lee Shepherd, born September 29, 1929, left this world on December 30, 2011, to meet here Lord and Savior at the age of 82. She was faithful member of the General Assembly and Church of the First Born. Addie Lee was married to Henry Stanley Shepherd on October 19, 1946 and shared thirty-six years of marriage. To this union two children were born, Stanley Laron (Ronnie) Shepherd and Cathy Ann Austin. Addie Lee was preceded in death by her loving husband, Henry Stanley Shepherd, her parents, James Wesley and Mable Hall Morris, one brother, J.W. Morris, and one Sister Betty Lou Boyce.

Survivors include: son, Stanley Laron (Ronnie) Shepherd and wife Cathy Jean; daughter, Cathy Ann Austin all of DeWitt, two brothers, Bud Morris of Heber Springs, Gary Morris of DeWitt; sister, Helen Herald of Conway; four grandchildren, Stanley Laron Shepherd, Jr. and wife Annette of North Little Rock, Lanny Carl Shepherd and wife Katelin of Little Rock, Marty Duane Austin and wife Sandra of Tichnor, and Sonya Reeves and companion, Sammy of Dumas; five great-grandchildren, Trey, Jessica, Jeremy, Alyssa, Sara, and Lexie.

Visitation will be 10 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday, January 1, 2012, at Essex Funeral Home. Services are 2 p.m. Sunday, at the General Assembly and Church of the First Born, with burial at Thompson Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church or cemetery.
